Each flower and tree has its own beauty, here are some  flowers that grace my garden.  Trees I also love but had to remove beautiful trees that had grown too big. The trees I have now are fruit or small native ones that attract native birds.

Welcome to all green thumbs and garden gnomes.

Christmas garden in Australia

Decorated front garden

It would be nice if all these flowers were in bloom at the same time, but unfortunately they're not.  The garden is pruned heavy in July (Winter in Oz.) and the soil fed. During Autumn the bulbs start to show and early Winter they burst into colour and we have a lovely display to brighten our cold days, this display of different  flowers continues on for about 11 months.

Christmas Garden - Canada
xmas-garden-exeter.jpg
Exeter, Ontario

The last two photo's were taken at Christmas in a Northern Winter and a Southern Summer. The winter is in Exeter, Ontario, Canada where I was staying with my daughter, the summer is in Australia where I live, my daughter and grandson were visiting me.  The Christmas garden is around the corner, both are beautiful and show the difference of seasons.

To the best of my knowledge all plants have been named correctly.  I get a lot of pleasure working in the garden among the snails and weeds, Ugh!! but I do feel at peace there and like to sit back and  see the beauty that Nature and I have created, hope you also have enjoyed your visit and would welcome  pictures of any gardens, especially yours, yes yours.
