My children are spread far and wide. Denis, Bron and I live in same street,
handy if I have any problems. Denis a retired Bank Manager now works as a storeman he cuts my lawn but I do rest of garden. Bron
works at Victoria University, never idle she also makes jewellery and does a lot of sewing. Denis loves his Lawn Bowls and
is club champion. Judy and Ken live at Kirkstall, 4 hr. drive west of Melbourne on a hobby farm of about 30 acres, raise a
few calves and English Riding Ponies. Judy works in business banking and Ken because of ill health is a part time school teacher,
a wonderful son-in-law. Jane and Brad live in Ontario, Canada with their 3 boys. Jane works off farm and Brad now works in
Kitchen Cabinets. They are into curling, baseball, ice hockey and horses. My children are busy people, their Father would
be proud of them and their achievements. Young Roger came between Judy and Jane, a gentle little boy much loved by all who
knew him, he loved cars, always had a Matchbox car in his hand. His death made a big hole in the family, he died in his sleep
from MYOCARDITIS (heart infection) it was always fatal back then within 24 hours. Five years later along came Jane and
OH!! what a difference she made, in no way like Roger for which we were thankful. Jane had a mind of her own and as she
grew it showed, she is still stubborn today. They all became accomplished swimmers and horse riders, belonging to both Swimming
and Horse and Pony Clubs. Like many other families, we were always busy with never a dull moment when our 3 children
were growing up. In some ways they have never changed and for that I love them dearly.

Life for me after raising a family and then retirement is still full. Edward and I take 2 walks a day now instead
of one long one. When the PE instructor moved I became leader of the group of senior citizens in their weekly chair or
standup exercise, a wonderful lot of people who make each day fun, I also belong to Tai chi for Arthritis Group and teach
this gentle exercise. Belonging also to the Getabout Club, a group of people who like to go out for lunch and bus trips. We
are all older generation people and make the most of each day enjoying Life to its fullest, laughing and joking, staying
active in mind, body and spirit. Now at 79 years what else could I ask for, Life does not finish on retirement it just
goes at a slower pace with new interests. Getting a computer made a big difference in my life, able
to help the 3 clubs by doing all their printing for them, meeting people all over the world. Edward, my little mate sleeps
a lot these days, but pick his lead up or say "Walkies" and he is ready. What a wonderful Life I have, I am indeed very fortunate.

So far I have been Blessed with a good Life, with some ups and
downs, depression being one of them but I got up and started again. I have witnessed world wars, man walking on the
Moon, the advent of computers and different Peoples standing forth and saying "We are equal", the good works of those wonderful people
in Science, Faith and Humanity. I can say if I post a letter I get a reply which means I am Blessed with Friendship,
very important. Yes it has been a good Life and not one day would I change, if I did I would not be where I am now,
contented in the Twilight of my Life.
